Opening Times

Box Office is open 9.30am - 8pm Monday to Saturday and 2 hours before the first performance on a Sunday.

NB - Box Office closes at 6pm on non-performance days.

By Car

Please make sure you leave plenty of time to park before a performance. There is no parking at the theatre.
The nearest car parks include:

Disabled Parking

All of the above car parks have disabled badge spaces.  There are also blue badge spaces available opposite the theatre in Theatre Street and a drop-off layby can be accessed to the right of the doors on Theatre Street.

Coach Drop off and Parking

Coaches and Minibuses can drop off on Theatre Street using the free of charge 15 minute drop off bay opposite the Theatre Royal. Layover parking is available at several locations in the city centre (King Street and Rouen Road offers free of charge 4 hour coach parking bays), and Lower Clarence Road car park (charges apply) and at Harford Park & Ride (Mon to Sat daytimes, charges payable to bus driver). Minibuses can also park at most surface car parks including Rouen Road and Chantry Road. All coaches and minibuses may use bus lanes and bus gates in Norwich. By Taxi

Taxis are available from ABC Taxis on 01603 666333. Driving eco-friendly cars within their fleet.

From the train station, there are also licenced black cabs available outside the entrance, and dedicated taxi phones within the station.

By Train

It is a 20 minute walk, mostly uphill, from Norwich railway station to the theatre.

By Bus

Visit www.travelineeastanglia.co.uk to plan your route.
It is a 10 minute walk from the bus station to the Theatre Royal, with a gentle uphill slope towards the end of the journey.
