New Adventures, Matthew Bourne’s award-winning dance-theatre company, is pleased to offer an inclusive workshop for those living with dementia at Norwich Theatre Royal. Get your bodies moving and learn a few movies from Bourne’s double Olivier award-wining production of The Red Shoes that returns to Norwich 18-22 February 2020. The workshop will begin with a gentle warm up and then you will have the chance to creatively explore the movement and enjoy the music of Bernard Hermann from our version of The Red Shoes, which has dazzled audiences across the UK and USA.
Theatre Cares is a participatory programme for people living with dementia and their carers. We provide a safe space for people to have fun through one off activities led by experienced practitioners. All workshops will be very relaxed and set to a leisurely pace with a small number of participants to allow for maximum contact with practitioners.
Personal Assistants eligible for free places at all activities, as with all performances.
Activities are dependent on minimum numbers participating, in the event that we need to cancel due to low participant numbers, a full refund will be given. We are unable to offer refunds in other circumstances
We work hard to ensure best practise and the safety of all who attend our activities. To do this we have a number of policies and procedures in place to support our participants and visitors. Please take a moment to read our Terms and Conditions of Take Part Activities at NTR
