La Cage aux Folles

Tuesday 17th - Saturday 21st January

Georges and the dazzling drag artiste Albin, star of la Cage aux Folles, live an idyllic existence in the heart of St Tropez, but all may be about to change. Georges’ son announces his engagement to the daughter of a right-wing politician and drama and hilarity ensue when a meeting of the parents forces them to cover up their vibrant lifestyle. Will Albin be able to play the role of his life…?

Bill Kenwright presents a spectacular new version of the much loved musical with West End star JOHN PARTRIDGE as Albin, MARTI WEBB as Jacqueline and Broadway leading man ADRIAN ZMED as Georges. John’s theatre credits include the West End productions of A Chorus Line at the London Palladium, Cats, Starlight Express and Chicago, and on TV he is best known for playing Christian in BBC’s EastEnders and as a judge on Over The Rainbow. Marti is no stranger to theatre appearing in the likes of Evita, Godspell, Thoroughly Modern Millie, Blood Brothers, 42nd Street, and Half A Sixpence. Marti is also well-known for her unforgettable performance in Tell Me On A Sunday which was written specifically for her by Andrew Lloyd Webber and Don Black. Adrian’s Broadway credits include Blood Brothers, Grease and Falsettos and on television he is best loved as Officer Vince Romano in the hit TV show T.J. Hooker and on the big screen as Johnny in Grease 2.

The show-stopping score includes The Best of Times, Song on the Sand and I Am What I Am
