TOURS AND TALKS GROUP PACKAGES

 

A General Backstage Tour

Stand in the Spotlight of East Anglia’s Premier Theatre and experience first-hand the set, stage, sights and sounds of live theatre. Each tour lasts approximately 60 minutes.

 £5.00 per adult /£4.00 per child

A Historical Tour

A backstage tour plus travel back in time with a PowerPoint presentation covering the theatre’s 260+ years rich history.
This event lasts approximately 90 minutes.

 £5.00 per adult /£4.00 per child

Off-site Presentation

A speaker from Norwich Theatre Royal will come to your venue to deliver a talk to your group. The talk is entitled ‘The History of Norwich Theatre Royal’ and is accompanied by a PowerPoint presentation. This talk can be tailored to suit your needs but usually lasts up to 60 minutes and is followed by time for questions.

 The charge for this talk is £50.00 plus travel costs.

Frequently Asked Questions:

£5.00 per adult and £4.00 per child. NB. Teachers will not be charged when booking as part of a school group.
The Technical and General tours normally last about an hour although this is mainly dependent upon the interest of the visiting group and can be shorter if required. The Historical Tour is longer than the other tours as it includes a powerpoint presentation. Approximate length is an hour and a half.
Tours are available Monday – Friday only, are show time dependent and upon permission being granted from the visiting production company and Norwich Theatre Royal’s technical department.

Please note that these are walking tours and will require the use of steps so visitors with restricted mobility will have limited access. If you have any access needs please make the Box Office aware when you book and we will try and accommodate.
