Michala Jane School of Dance presents Pocahontas

A gripping and action-packed show for all the family; the Michala Jane School of Dance never ceases to amaze, spellbind and entertain in this glorious return to the Theatre Royal Norwich stage.

The enduring tale of Pocahontas is one of discovery, freedom and love. As daughter of Powhatan, Chief of the Tsenacommacah Native Americans, she enjoyed a peaceful, free-spirited and close-to-nature upbringing. But this wholesome yet magical paradise will change forever. From the moment British settlers arrive from across the sea  in the name of King James and exploitation, fate would choose her to play a pivotal role in the beginning of the end of her world and the genesis of a nation.

Come with us, as we celebrate this extraordinary young woman’s breath-taking and heart-warming journey into the unknown through loyalty, betrayal, hope, romance, revelation, tragedy, joy and much, much more. Our dazzling cast of 200+ multi-talented performers of all ages will blow you away in this spectacular musical theatre show.

If you love stunning show-stopping dance routines, anthemic and spine-tingling songs, delivered with enthralling and bewitching drama, you are in the right place!
